Frankie 10 years 14.2 hh Liver chestnut Welsh section D gelding. Suitable for hacking only. We found him in an awful state in a dreadful dealers yard 3 years ago having been show jumped then dumped with suspensory ligament problems. After treatment and rest he has been sound for the last two years and had been hacking around the forest till last November. He is very cheeky and enthusiastic, and bright as a button. He loves people and thinks he’s a super star. He’s the type that really bonds with his owner and will be a real friend. He needs to work both for his brain – and his waistline but absolutely hates school work (probably due to his past injuries) but long reins well and enjoys hacking.. He would be better suited to an older confident rider with good hips (not like mine) as he is quite wide. I have a very comfortable Reactor panel saddle which fits him that I could sell.
Tillie 15 years 15.2 hh Bay mare Welsh x Irish D Suitable for hacking only or companion due to superficial flexor tendon injury 3 ½ years ago. Sound and always healthy but unlevel infront where the tendon healed but contracted. A very sweet mare and armchair ride, who has perfect manners and keeps her bedroom very tidy! Sensible forward going ride - would suit experienced rider as too sensitive for novice.

Turnout 1: Horseware Rambo Wug, purple with green binding, heavyweight. Half (shaped) neck, tail flap, 'V' shaped fastening at neck, cross surcingles and fillet string (no leg straps required). Small professional repair, but otherwise good condition. £30
Turnout 2: Chaskit light to medium weight, dark green. No neck or tail flap. "Spider" Y-shape fastening. Good condition. £30
Stable rug 1: Mark Todd medium weight quilted rug, navy blue with cross surcingles, no neck. Excellent condition. £30
Stable rug 2: Mark Todd heavyweight quilted rug, blue/red/beige tartan with cross surcingles and no neck. Some repairs, but still plenty of life left. £20
Stable rug 3: Shaped "duvet" under rug. Homemade by my wonderful mother from a double bed-sized polyester-filled duvet! Neck shape cut out and hemmed and chest strap added. Washed but some stable stains remaining (previous wearer can confirm that it is very snuggly for lying down on cold nights!) £10
