Old Surrey & Burstow Hunt

You will find information about hunting in general, the hounds, the country we cover, the etiquette of hunting and how you can get involved in what we do. The etiquette page will hopefully answer most of your questions on the Do's and Don'ts when you come out for a day and help you to make the most of your day's hunting.

The hunt provides a vital service to its equestrian and farming community through the horse disposal and the fallen stock service . This includes the humane disposal of horses. Owners of horses and ponies what have come to the end of their lives will want to be aware of this humane service provided by the Hunt.

T.R.O.T. Tollrides (Off-Road) Trust
Toll Rides (Off-Road) Trust – formerly South Eastern Toll Rides was established in 1990 by Dora Pilkington and some other like-minded riders, who were concerned at the growing amount of traffic on their local roads. Their approach to local farmers, with the help and encouragement of the NFU, the Country Landowners Association and East Anglian Farm Rides, led to the first toll ride being opened on agreed tracks and headlands.
