Spring 2009 : Decayed mounting blocks at gates have now been replaced, behind Misbourne Farm a path was repaired, the ride down to the river at Wrens Warren was improved, drainage works on the ride parallel to the Old Airstrip, repairs and drainage behind Long car park to Reservoir, gate moved further from road at Duddleswell Tea Rooms, path raised up near Charlies Ditch, ride closure due to dangerous deep clay between Isle of Thorns and Old Airstrip.

Toll Lane. The middle gate was closed by the Rangers as part of a permit inspection programme forcing riders to use the more dangerous B2026 roadside gate. The gate was reopened 15.June.09, news of effectiveness keenly awaited.
